Danielle’s Foundation 2011 Third Quarter Grant Winner
Congratulations to 11-year-old Jeweliana, or Jewel as she is lovingly called by her family, from Kihei, Hawaii. Jewel is the recipient of our 2011 3rd Quarter Grant! She has cerebral palsy and is the youngest of three children. Jewel’s parents and older sisters — also known as “Team Jewel” — have been working hard to get her mobile and more independent. Our $2,000 grant will help Jewel acquire 23 additional sessions of physical therapy along with myofascial release provided through a private, specialized therapist who has also been a dedicated member of “Team Jewel.”
